About the Map Postal Code Finder

How does the map finder work?
The map keeps one pin at its centre. Move the map until the pin is over the living or delivery area you need. Postminer sends that coordinate to its server and returns the matching postcode from the postal database as soon as the area is identified.
When should I use the map instead of GPS?
Use the map when you need a postcode for a place other than your current position, such as a delivery area, property, or business premises. GPS detects your present location, while the map lets you target another area in Nigeria.
Does the map finder cover all 36 states?
The map covers all 36 Nigerian states and the Federal Capital Territory. Zoom and pan until the centre pin is over your area of interest. The tool checks whether that area can be reconciled to a postal record before it shows a postcode.
What if no postal code is found for my map area?
The tool will not guess a nearby postcode. Move the map to a clearer area, or use manual search to choose your state, LGA, and area or landmark.
