Terms of Use

These terms explain the basic rules for using Postminer.

Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. The service

Postminer provides a free tool for finding Nigerian postal codes for a selected or detected area. It is an independent information service and is not NIPOST, a government agency, a courier company, a bank, or a money-transfer service.

2. Results and important decisions

Postminer matches postcode records with location, map, search, and provider evidence. Coverage and evidence can vary by location. For a legal, financial, delivery, identity, or official government submission, check that the recipient or institution accepts the postcode and confirm the address details required by that service.

A displayed result is intended to help you complete a practical task. It is not a promise that a third party will accept the result or that a delivery provider will locate a property without the rest of the address.

3. Acceptable use

Use Postminer lawfully and do not interfere with the service, bypass request limits, send malicious traffic, scrape private operational data, impersonate another person, or use the service to harm people or organizations.

Do not submit passwords, payment details, or unnecessary personal information to lookup fields or issue reports.

4. Maps and third-party services

Map tiles, address evidence, analytics, hosting, and other supporting services can be supplied by third parties. Their availability and terms can change. Postminer uses those services as part of its lookup system but does not control every external service.

5. Feedback and content

You may report a result or product issue through the available feedback tools. Keep reports accurate and do not include information that does not belong to you. Feedback may be used to investigate problems and improve the service.

6. Changes and contact

Postminer may change features, data sources, or these terms as the service develops. The current version is published on this page. Questions can be sent to team@postminer.com.ng.
